If being in a relationship makes one happy, well, for single people, the journey of waiting might be a roller coaster ride. Nonetheless, it’s a journey worth taking, especially right at this time when things are just starting to unfold in your life. To quote my favorite line from a retreat, “Waiting is a part of our life of faith. Waiting is a time to strengthen our perspective toward the future.” I totally agree with that.
Waiting, not only for the right person, but even for breakthroughs to happen may sometimes make us feel down and hopeless. Let us look, however, to how this season changes us to be better persons while making us realize that patience is, indeed, a blessing.
